With presence everywhere from the Grammy Awards to Lollapalooza, Avicii is one of the EDM community's most mainstream names. He has been honored at the American Music Awards, Echo Awards, Billboard Music Awards and World Music Awards, but before wowing large crowds he catered to a decidedly smaller audience of dance blog readers. As his profile grew, so did his appeal; he has since remixed music for Enrique Iglesias, David Guetta, Madonna and many others. Just as impressive are his charitable aspirations. Avicii founded House for Hunger, which raises awareness and funding for global hunger relief. As something of an EDM trailblazer, he's experimented with new sounds in front of vast crowds (even adding some bluegrass to his set at Ultra Music Festival) and created the interactive Avicii X You project, which allowed fans to send their own melodies and lyrics electronically for a song he later titled "X You."
