Some may consider Adam Beyer a purveyor of Swedish techno music. He all but spearheaded the movement that paved the way for the country's most prolific DJs. He is renowned for his particularly musical brand of EDM. Heavy percussion dominates his sets, which are so electrically charged that they hypnotize crowds. Yet, don't be fooled: Beyer is just as much a force in minimal techno music. He was even honored with the Minimal Award at the 2014 DJ Awards, and has proven his versatility with remixes for the likes of Ben Sims, Gary Beck and many others. He also finds time to helm his own label, Drumcode Records, which is home to a catalog of DJs and producers who share Beyer's own hardcore work ethic. With remixes for Underworld, Matthew Jonson and other luminaries to his credit, Beyer brings a refreshing sound to the EDM world.
